Mail Sorter

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Seasonal Casual Mail Sorter. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient sorting and delivery of mail and parcels to our customers.

• Sort and process mail and parcels using manual and machine-assisted methods
• Load and unload mail from mail bags, trays, containers, and metal cages
• Operate sophisticated processing equipment and lines
• Use load shifting equipment such as hand pallet devices and stackers to assist with mail handling

To be successful in this role, you will need to be available to work from October through our peak period. You will also need to be physically fit, able to lift up to 16kgs of mail and parcels regularly, and have a great memory and attention to detail.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for completing compliance checks and handling parcels that may contain meat and/or alcohol products.

We offer a competitive rate of pay, starting at $31.85 per hour, and a 12% superannuation rate. You will also have the opportunity to work with a great team and potentially secure ongoing work beyond the peak season.
