Experienced Home Care Assistant Wanted

Role Summary:
Care Workers play a vital role in supporting older members of our community to maintain their independence and wellbeing. The successful candidate will have a Cert III qualification and at least 6 months experience in a similar role.
We are seeking an experienced Care Worker who can provide quality home help services, including general housekeeping, cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors, washing, folding and ironing laundry, meal preparation and grocery shopping.
The ideal candidate will be able to provide personal care services, including getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day, assisting with medications, mobility and therapy goals, providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia.
You will also be responsible for providing social and emotional support and transporting clients to lifestyle activities or appointments.
Key Responsibilities:- Home Help Services: Provide general housekeeping, cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors, washing, folding and ironing laundry, meal preparation and grocery shopping.
- Personal Care Services: Assist with getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day, medications, mobility and therapy goals, providing complex care for customers with high care needs.
- Social and Emotional Support: Provide support and transport clients to lifestyle activities or appointments.
- A valid Australian Driver's Licence and own insured, roadworthy vehicle.
- Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Disability.
- Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role, with experience in personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications.
