Marketing and Communications Manager Job Description

We are seeking an innovative Marketing and Communications Manager to join our dynamic team for a six-month journey. This role will promote the sport of tennis in South Australia through marketing, communications, and PR activities aligned with national and local strategies.

The Marketing and Communications Manager will oversee all marketing, digital, public relations, branding, production, and advertising activities to enhance the organization's profile. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing content and marketing deliverables for events like the Adelaide International to grow awareness and participation in tennis.
  • Leading marketing efforts for The Drive by developing growth strategies and delivering campaigns that promote events, concerts, and functions.
  • Collaborating with the marketing and PR teams to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Providing leadership and development opportunities for the Marketing and Communications Coordinator.
About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A tertiary qualification in Marketing or Communications.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills in both one-on-one and group settings.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, negotiation, and written skills.
  • Demonstrated competency in desktop publishing and design.
  • Proven experience in website administration and editorial production.
  • Advanced competency in social media and digital marketing.
  • A current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Flexibility in working hours and arrangements related to work.
