To support our expansion, we have three brand new roles available for an immediate start. These roles will work a rotating weekly shift including afternoon and night shifts.
While relevant experience in operating extrusion machines and coiling equipment is beneficial, we also value your willingness to learn new skills and apply them constructively and safely as part of a supportive team.
Key responsibilities include operating material handling and blend systems, extrusion lines, and down-stream equipment to established conditions. You'll ensure pipe is packed to required standards and specifications.
Quality control is paramount – you'll monitor and maintain the quality of pipe throughout the manufacturing process.
Our goal is to achieve targets related to pipe production in a safe and efficient manner.
As part of a collaborative team, you'll create a culture of collaboration and embed recognised best practice and continuous improvement from across the manufacturing industry.
Essential qualifications include a current Forklift Licence, own transport, and driver's licence.
Experience in FMCG/continuous batch manufacturing/heavy industrial operations or related manufacturing industries with high-speed continuous operations, including automation, is desirable.
A strong mechanical aptitude and enthusiasm for automation and new technology are highly valued.
Solid literacy and numeracy skills are essential.
A commitment to following work site procedures, understanding of safety work practices, and demonstrated risk awareness are critical.
Manual dexterity, trouble shooting ability, and a solutions-focused approach are necessary, given the mix of automated processes and manual operations.
A can-do attitude, flexibility, adaptability, and teamwork are essential qualities for success in this role.
