Procurement Category Lead

The role of Procurement Category Lead is to oversee a defined supplier portfolio, creating and implementing strategic procurement plans that guarantee supply continuity, competitive pricing, and exceptional supplier performance. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Marketing and R&D teams to unlock access to cutting-edge technologies, premium quality, and innovative ideas.

Key Responsibilities
  1. BUILD RELATIONSHIPS AND PARTNER WITH SUPPLIERS TO ENSURE THEY MEET OR EXCEED KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS, PARTICULARLY SUPPLIER IN-FAULT AND QUALITY.
  2. DEVELOP DETAILED CATEGORY AND SOURCING STRATEGIES FOR THE DESIGNATED PORTFOLIO, IDENTIFYING OPPORTUNITIES TO REDUCE COST OF SUPPLY, SIMPLIFY SUPPLY CHAIN COMPLEXITY, AND UNCOVER NEW GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES.
  3. LEAD COMMERCIAL NEGOTIATIONS TO DELIVER COMPETITIVE MARKET PRICES.
