Procurement Expert

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Supply Chain team in Brisbane. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and engaging with direct supply channels from domestic and international markets, managing the supply chain lifecycle, and collaborating with internal stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors.
  • Manage individual stakeholder and vendor relationships, visiting suppliers and sites as required.
  • Assist with supplier negotiations across multiple categories.
  • Conduct market research, competitor assessments, and trend analysis.
  • Provide procurement support to the business through the authority for expenditure process.
  • Adhere to category material change and sourcing programs.
  • Assist with financial analysis and modeling.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business or commerce preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of procurement experience across multiple categories of spend.
  • Previous experience in a corporate environment dealing with complex organizational structures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Demonstrated high-level self-organizational skills.
  • Professional customer service attitude.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in remote locations, is an advantage.
