Employment DetailsWe are seeking an experienced Master Mechanic to join our Workshop team on a permanent full-time basis. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for the effective maintenance and repairs of our diverse vehicle and plant fleet.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of preventative maintenance programs, investigations, costing, and reporting faults/repairs. Additionally, they will possess a current Motor Mechanic Tradesperson Certificate as issued from NSW Fair Trading and a Class C Driver Licence.
We offer a competitive salary range of $76,329.00 - $88,355.00 per annum, plus 11.5% superannuation and an Adverse Working Conditions Allowance in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award.
About the RoleAs a Master Mechanic - Fleet Maintenance Specialist, you will be working as part of a close-knit team to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our vehicle and plant fleet. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and repairing vehicles and equipment to a high standard
- Conducting regular inspections and performing routine maintenance tasks
- Investigating and diagnosing faults and defects
- Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior staff members

RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- TAFE Certificate of Trade in the Automotive Mechanics field
- Sound knowledge and experience as a Mechanic in the Motor Vehicle Repair Industry
- Current Motor Mechanic Tradesperson Certificate as issued from NSW Fair Trading
- Understanding of, and experience with, preventative maintenance programs, investigations, costing, and reporting faults/repairs
- Knowledge of and commitment to Work Health and Safety (WHS) and Equal Employment Opportunities
- Current Class C Driver Licence
