Senior Payroll Remediation Project Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Remediation Project Coordinator to join our team at the Woolworths Group.

As a key member of our People Team, you will play a critical role in supporting end-to-end remediation projects focused on reviewing team member entitlements and industrial agreements within the Woolworths Group.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and deep SME's to navigate and solve complex problems within agreed timeframes. Your work will be wide and varied, including:

  • Managing and planning remediation projects
  • Working with data analysts and external agencies to build and present complex data models
  • Managing relationships with key stakeholders within the Woolworths Group through clear communication and engagement
  • Assisting in identifying & providing recommendations on the resources required to deliver outcomes and implement project requirements

The ideal candidate will have solid stakeholder engagement skills at a senior level and an appreciation for the complex and ever-changing nature of a fast-paced retail business. You'll also demonstrate:

  • Project Management experience, including creating and articulating project tasks and timelines, identifying dependencies and risks
  • An understanding of industrial instruments and the current industrial relations environment
  • Experience in working with data modelling teams (experience as a data analyst/building models not required)
  • Commercial thinking (from a risk perspective) with the ability to apply this to payroll or legal advice or employee entitlement scenarios
  • Experience working within a matrix structure, preferably in a large corporate environment
