Job Overview

This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals to join the Woolworths Group as a Store Hygiene Specialist at our Warabrook store. As part of our Proactive Services team, you will be responsible for ensuring a pristine environment for customers and colleagues alike.

Job Description

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the store team to complete cleaning tasks on a scheduled basis, collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding areas, and support waste processing routines. This involves using various equipment and tools, which you will receive comprehensive training on.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Sweeping shop floors, cleaning walls, bathrooms, trolley bays, and team rooms, as well as emptying bins.
  • Collecting trolleys on foot from car parks and surrounding areas.
  • Working across departments to deliver specific cleaning needs.
  • Assisting customers in-store by answering questions or providing directions.
Requirements and Skills

To succeed in this role, you must possess physical fitness, as the position involves physically demanding tasks. You should also be able to comfortably handle loads between 5-10kgs and stand for extended periods. Flexibility to work in different environments and availability to work across Monday-Sunday, including shifts starting from 6am or 5pm, are essential.
