Job Summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Biopharmaceutical Process Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production of biopharmaceutical solutions and process intermediates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispense raw materials and prepare media and buffer solutions in accordance with established protocols.
  • Perform equipment testing, troubleshooting, and validation protocols to ensure optimal operational performance.
  • Support the implementation of new procedures and equipment, and propose corrective and preventive actions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Communicate with suppliers to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with cGMP quality systems and Patheon EH&S requirements.
  • Perform other duties as required to support day-to-day operational activities.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary education in a science or engineering-based field, or relevant proven experience.
  • Excellent knowledge and working experience in a cGMP environment.
  • Specific knowledge of relevant process unit operations and quality systems.
  • Strong organizational, scheduling, and planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication, flexibility, reliability, and assertiveness.
