Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Medicine Specialist to join our team at the Australian Capital Territory. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our emergency department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emergency medical care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
  • Conduct research and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Collaborate with other departments and healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in education and training programs to stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and techniques
Requirements
  • Hold Specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • Meet credentialing requirements and receive an Endorsed scope of clinical practice from the Medical Dental Appointments Advisory Committee (MDAAC)
  • Meet Pre-Screening requirements of the Occupational Medical Unit for Vaccination compliance
