About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scientific Lead to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory, you will be responsible for leading, managing, and directing the laboratory, ensuring the efficient and accurate performance of tests, and guiding, training, and educating staff within the laboratory.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the laboratory, ensuring excellence in teaching, research, and professional activities.
- Provide supervision and leadership within the laboratory, prioritizing the activities of staff to ensure timely delivery of services and system enhancements.
- Implement approved new services, standard of care testing, and develop capacity using new technologies, in conjunction with Pathology Leadership.
- Ensure internal and external customer requirements regarding availability, reliability, security, performance, and accessibility are satisfactorily delivered.
