Job Summary

We are seeking a diligent and reliable Warehouse Maintenance Associate to join our team at Programmed. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and organization within the warehouse facility, ensuring a safe and hygienic working environment for all employees.

About the Role

This is a part-time opportunity to work in a dynamic warehouse environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing various areas of the warehouse using manual and motorized equipment. They will also be expected to empty trash bins, dispose of waste properly, and monitor cleaning supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sweeping and Mopping Floors: Remove dirt, dust, and debris from floors using manual and motorized sweepers.
  • Dusting and Wipe Down Surfaces: Clean shelves, equipment, furniture, and other surfaces with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Emptying Trash Bins and Disposing Waste Properly: Ensure a clean and hygienic environment by emptying trash bins and disposing of waste according to procedures.
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing Restrooms and Break Rooms: Maintain a high level of cleanliness in restrooms and break rooms.
  • Monitoring and Restocking Cleaning Supplies: Ensure that cleaning supplies are readily available and restock as needed.
  • Reporting Any Maintenance or Safety Issues: Inform the supervisor of any maintenance or safety issues.
  • FOLLOWING ALL HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES AND PROCEDURES: Adhere to health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous Experience in Commercial Cleaning or Janitorial Services: A background in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is highly desirable.
  • Ability to Work Independently and Efficiently: You should be able to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Strong Attention to Detail and Thorough Approach to Cleaning Tasks: Maintain a high level of quality in your work, paying close attention to details.
  • Good Communication Skills and Ability to Work Well as Part of a Team: Effective communication is crucial in this role, as you will be working with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Physical Stamina and Ability to Lift and Move Heavy Objects if Required: You should be physically capable of performing tasks that require lifting and moving heavy objects.

Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
