Lead Our Tree and Vegetation Inspection Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Arborist to lead our tree and vegetation inspection team in the Mornington Peninsula. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the health and safety of trees in our beautiful coastal region.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing operations for street tree and vegetation inspection and planting programs. You will contribute to the development of power line clearance and area vegetation pruning inspection programs, and lead a team of inspecting arborists to ensure high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development and implementation of tree and vegetation management plans.
  • Lead and train a team of inspecting arborists to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Provide excellent customer service to the community, ensuring that their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including local government and community groups, to ensure the best outcomes for our trees.
  • Champion safety standards and a safety-focused work culture, ensuring that all team members are aware of and adhere to safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Cert V or higher in Arboriculture.
  • Experience developing and executing tree and vegetation management plans.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lead, inspire, and develop a team.
  • Dedication to safety in the workplace.
