About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team at YOUR Resourcing Group. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate and timely estimates for multi-million-dollar projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough trade break-ups of documentation to ensure accurate pricing
  • Create trade subcontractor selection lists and liaise with subcontractors to ensure a clear understanding of the scope of works and programme
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of estimates, identifying levels of contingency and risk for managerial assessment
  • Manage budgets effectively and identify opportunities for cost improvement
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors
  • Estimate for Design & Construct and hard dollar tenders, particularly for commercial fit-outs and refurbishments
  • Estimate using first principles and produce reasonable and appropriate rates with available information
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of estimating experience in the construction industry
  • Tertiary qualifications in construction or quantity surveying
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure
