Optical Dispenser Role Overview

As an Optical Dispenser, you will be responsible for assisting patients with frame styling and lens selection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help patients find the perfect frames and lenses to suit their needs
  • Adjust and fit glasses with care, ensuring a comfortable and secure fit
  • Manage orders and work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of eyewear
  • Create a welcoming experience for every patient, providing exceptional customer service and communication skills

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A positive and engaging personality, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds
  • Computer confidence and willingness to learn, with the ability to adapt to new technology and systems
  • Previous optical/dispensing experience is preferred, but we are happy to train the right person in our comprehensive training program
