CPB Contractors is a leading Australian construction company that has been selected as the Design and Construction Contractor for the North East Link Project in Victoria.

Our team is responsible for delivering the twin three-lane tunnels and key interchanges for the project, which will close the missing link in Melbourne's freeway network and reduce journey times.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled GIS Analyst to provide advice to our project team regarding in-house spatial engineering systems and maintain project spatial data using computer software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, import, maintain, and validate/verify geospatial data to support project delivery.
  • Prepare GIS products and services that meet client needs in accordance with agreed guidelines and with minimal supervision.
  • Perform system acceptance testing to support the implementation of GIS software releases, interfaces to the GIS, and supporting business systems.
  • Assist in managing the integrity and security of the geospatial databases to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Effectively utilize Geocortex and other existing spatial engineering applications as a project lifecycle tool.
  • Assist in the development of adequate training material in the use of spatial tools and systems.

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of people and build and enhance key relationships.
