About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned audit professional to join our team as an Audit Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and reporting of audits.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Defining audit strategy in consultation with partners and executing it in compliance with policies and protocols.
  • Managing the audit process with consideration of audit risk issues and accounting technical matters.
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure smooth delivery of the audit process.
  • Developing expertise in accounting frameworks (IFRS) and related financial reporting matters.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proficiency in Mandarin for effective communication with clients.
  • SOX or PCAOB experience is desirable.
  • A proven track record of delivering external audit and assurance engagements.
  • Experience leading the planning, execution, and reporting on audits.

You will also have the opportunity to develop and maintain client relationships, work collaboratively as part of a team, and contribute to the growth and success of the organization.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong academic record, including a degree and progress towards/completion of a recognized accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA) or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years' experience as an auditor.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a collaborative approach to management.
  • A proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
