Middle School Track and Field Coaching Assistant

JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a team-oriented professional to assist in administering the track and field program. Responsibilities will include coaching student athletes to achieve a high level of skill, discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
Responsibilities- Instructs and demonstrates skill sets and techniques necessary for individual and team achievement.
- Plans and sets-up activities, practices, and contests as assigned by the head coach.
- Develops training programs and practice schedules when assigned by the head coach.
- Ensures proper storage, maintenance, and inventory of athletic equipment and uniforms.
- Travels with student athletes on the team bus and supervises them during contests.
- Enforces discipline policies and emphasizes sportsmanship and healthy lifestyles.
- Maintains a safe environment and facilities for student athletes.
- Track and Field experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Criminal history clearance (background check).
- CPR and First Aid certified.
- NFHS Coaching Education certified.
The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $2684-$2904 per season.
Employment TermsThe selected candidate will be employed under a negotiated contract. The district provides reasonable accommodations necessary upon request and appropriate notice.
