Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Apprenticeship Opportunity

Our family business is seeking a motivated and committed individual to start a Heavy Commercial Vehicle apprenticeship with our mechanical workshop, servicing cars, trucks, and machinery.

About Our Business

We are a mechanical workshop specialising in diesel mechanical work, engine swaps and conversions, breakdown service, and on-site servicing of machines and vehicles.

During your time as an apprentice, you will complete a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology.

Skills You Will Acquire

  • Complete scheduled services on trucks and trailers
  • Repair plant and equipment
  • Identify and report issues to the Workshop Supervisor
  • Record repairs and faults in register and computer system as needed
  • Maintain workplace safety
  • Grease and lubricate trucks and trailers
  • Assist tradesmen
  • Ensure an environmentally compliant workplace

Requirements

  • Basic hand tool experience (desirable)
  • Car Driver Licence
