Job Description:

AI Prompt Engineer

We are seeking a skilled AI Prompt Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, testing, and refining the prompts that guide our AI models, ensuring outputs meet the exacting standards required by journalists.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for journalism and understanding of modern newsroom operations, as well as demonstrated elementary coding experience, preferably in Python, natural language processing (NLP), and prompt engineering using different models.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the bridge between advanced AI technology and practical journalism.
  • Design, test, and refine the prompts that guide our AI models.
  • Craft sophisticated language systems that power our newsroom tools.
  • Develop and fine-tune prompts that guide AI models to produce accurate, contextually appropriate responses for diverse journalistic applications.

Key Requirements:

  • Genuine passion for journalism and understanding of modern newsroom operations.
  • Demonstrated elementary coding experience, preferably in Python, NLP, and prompt engineering.
  • Strong grasp of language semantics and syntax, coupled with an experimental mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust with both journalists and technical teams.
