About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plant and Equipment Maintainer to join our team at Veolia in Brooklyn, Melbourne. As a key member of our industrial services team, you will be responsible for maintaining and overseeing all plant and equipment onsite, ensuring that all operations are optimized to full capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair plant and equipment to meet Veolia's safety, environmental, and contractual obligations.
  • Work closely with the Operations team to ensure that all plant and equipment is optimized for maximum efficiency.
  • Use our internal asset management system (VAMS) to manage resources, tools, and equipment.
  • Manage deliveries for stock and materials.
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure all maintenance and service works are completed to reduce downtime.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical/mobile equipment in an industrial environment.
  • Current HR truck licence.
  • A working knowledge and understanding of safety and environmental compliance.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work unsupervised and use problem-solving skills effectively.
