About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and culturally sensitive Multicultural Child Protection Caseworker to join our team in South Western Sydney.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to reports of children or young people who may have been harmed or where there are safety concerns.
  • Work sensitively and respectfully with parents, family members, children or young people, and collaborate with other agencies to develop safety plans and complete risk assessments.
  • Utilize cross-cultural skills and expertise to assist families from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Social Science, or a related field, along with practical experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • A valid driver's licence (P1 or above).
  • A paid Working with Children clearance number.
