Momento Films, a renowned production company, is seeking a skilled Video Editor to join their team. As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in crafting compelling narratives and visual experiences for various industries, including corporate, commercial, and creative sectors.

• Examine raw footage, selecting the most effective shots and sequences to convey the story;
• Utilize editing software to assemble the footage into a cohesive video, ensuring seamless transitions, appropriate pacing, and flow;
• Integrate audio elements like dialogue, background music, sound effects, and voiceovers, ensuring they are synchronized with the visuals;
• Adjust the color and lighting of the footage to achieve a consistent and visually appealing look;
• Add motion graphics, text, special effects, and transitions where necessary to enhance the overall quality and appeal of the video;
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand the vision, make revisions, and ensure the final product aligns with the client's goals;
• Manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work across multiple projects;
• Export videos in various formats for different platforms, such as social media, websites, or broadcasting, ensuring they meet technical specifications;
• Make adjustments to the video based on client feedback or internal review sessions to deliver the final product as expected;
• Organize and maintain a clear archive of all edited materials, ensuring easy access for future use;

• At least 2 years of experience as a Video Editor;
• Expert-level skills in video editing programs;
• Ability to assemble footage into a compelling narrative, effectively conveying the intended message or story;
• A keen eye for visual composition, timing, continuity, and precision in editing to create seamless transitions and polished visuals;
• Ability to incorporate text, animations, and other visual effects to enhance videos when necessary;
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with directors, producers, and clients;
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in the editing process and find creative solutions to improve the video's impact;

This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary range of $73,000 - $83,000.
