Wood is seeking a Graduate Engineer specializing in Production Optimization to become a vital part of our Consulting team.

Candidates should have successfully completed their Chemical Engineering degree. We are particularly interested in individuals who possess foundational knowledge in flow assurance, process simulation, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). A solid grasp of fluid dynamics and heat transfer principles is essential.

In this role, you will report to the Team Lead and engage in flow assurance tasks under the guidance of experienced team members, allowing you to enhance your skills with leading industry technologies. You will contribute specialist engineering insights to project activities, spanning from initial screening studies to the execution phase.

Key attributes we seek include:

  • Completion of a Chemical Engineering degree
  • Familiarity with modeling tools such as OLGA, Pipenet, TGNET, Multiflash, HYSYS, UniSim, Ansys CFX, and Fluent is advantageous
  • Programming skills in VBA, Python, and data analytics are beneficial
  • Attention to detail is critical for creating precise designs and specifications
  • Teamwork skills are essential for successful collaboration on engineering projects
  • Adaptability to new technologies and methods is necessary in this evolving field
  • Problem-solving abilities to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges
  • Effective communication skills for conveying technical information clearly
