About the Role

We are seeking a talented Banking and Finance Lawyer to join our team at Empire Group in Sydney. As a junior lawyer, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile transactions and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of complex financial transactions, including structured finance, corporate finance, securitisation, derivatives, and debt capital markets.
  • Work closely with partners and senior lawyers to develop and implement innovative solutions for clients.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the banking and finance team, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements
  • 1-4 years of experience in banking and finance law from a reputable firm or in-house environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
  • Interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and self-awareness, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
