Job Description

As a senior-level professional in occupational health and safety, you will be responsible for leading our advisory team in Melbourne. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least two to three days a week in the office. Your primary focus will be on managing a portfolio of client workplaces, providing operational oversight, and ensuring that outcomes are delivered to the required technical quality and timeliness.

You will work closely with internal client teams to strategically manage workload and lead a team of OHS consultants to deliver consistent and high-quality outcomes for our clients. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying cross-selling opportunities and participating in initiatives that drive business growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Applying well-developed specialist knowledge in consulting and risk management services to Marsh clients and internal teams
  • Providing operational oversight to allocated portfolios of client workplaces
  • Leading, mentoring, developing, and managing OHS consultants to deliver consistent and high-quality outcomes
  • Ensuring consultant reports are reviewed for quality, technical accuracy, and timeliness
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in WHS advisory or related roles
  • Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training
  • High level of safety hands-on technical experience
  • Experience in people management and leadership, including mentoring, developing, and guiding more inexperienced consultants
  • Fantastic stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Strong issue resolution skills
  • Attention to detail and quality management
  • A vehicle suitable for travel requirements
