Laundry Team Member

We are seeking a motivated Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linen from our rooms and the restaurant are washed, pressed, and returned in a clean and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure correct usage of all equipment
- Maintain linen room and equipment in high standard of cleanliness and repair
- Comply with and demonstrate awareness of Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Washing, drying, pressing, and folding clean linen from rooms and outlets
- Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery, including adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps.
- Inspect cleanliness of articles removed from the washer, dryer, or dry-cleaning machines and place in clean linen carts.
- Set dryers to designated times and temperatures based on fabrics contained in load.
- Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, dry cleaning filters, and drain trap after each load.
- Fold cleaned articles into designated size, either by hand or using folding machine.
- Maintain accurate records of items laundered.
