Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering impactful consumer communications and projects.

Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will contribute to the development and delivery of a comprehensive consumer communications strategy aligned with our organization's strategic priorities and initiatives.

Key responsibilities include leading and delivering integrated consumer-focused projects and campaigns, managing relationships with external partners, collaborating with internal teams to design and deliver impactful campaigns, identifying and executing media relations activities, and overseeing budgets and timelines.

  • Contribute to the development and delivery of a comprehensive consumer communications strategy aligned with our organization's strategic priorities and initiatives.
  • Lead and deliver integrated consumer-focused projects and campaigns.
  • Manage relationships with external partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver impactful campaigns.
  • Identify and execute media relations activities.
  • Oversee budgets and timelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications

You will have tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, or a related field, alongside 6–8 years' experience in communications, media, or public relations. A solid grasp of the Australian media landscape, track record of writing and pitching compelling stories, and strong project management skills are essential.

Experience in financial services is highly regarded, but not essential. You will be a strategic thinker and skilled communicator with the ability to lead projects and produce high-quality content across multiple channels.

  • Tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • 6–8 years' experience in communications, media, or public relations.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • A solid grasp of the Australian media landscape.
  • Track record of writing and pitching compelling stories.
