Health and Wellness Program Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Health and Wellness Program Coordinator to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of older people living in the community.

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting, administering, and coordinating health, wellness, and social programs that enhance the quality of life for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote and coordinate health, wellness, and social programs for older people
  • Create and maintain a welcoming environment that encourages participation and engagement
  • Manage program calendars, staff, and volunteers to ensure seamless delivery
  • Ongoing client record management and administration
  • Local area promotion and networking to increase membership numbers
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Qualifications in Allied Health, Health Promotion, Leisure and Lifestyle, or similar
  • Demonstrated understanding and commitment to improving health, wellbeing, and quality of life for older people
  • Experience working with older people, their families, carers, and advocates
  • Ability to promote and coordinate programs, set timetables, and develop program calendars
  • Proficiency in computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Client Management Systems
  • Current Driver's Licence and registered vehicle
