As an Educational Leader at Goodstart, you will play a key role in shaping the educational experience of our children. You will be responsible for leading a team of educators, developing and implementing educational programs, and promoting best practice in early childhood education.

Job Overview

This is a permanent/part-time position working 17 hours per week across Monday to Friday. You will be based at our centre in Kangaroo Flat, VIC, and will be required to work collaboratively with our centre leadership team to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of educators in the development and implementation of educational programs
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with families and community partners
  • Contribute to the development and review of centre policies and procedures
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of educational programs and services
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) or Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Current VIC Working with Children Check or VIT registration

Educational Leader Role

The Educational Leader plays a critical role in supporting the delivery of high-quality educational programs and services to children. Key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with centre leaders to develop and implement centre-wide initiatives
  • Leading teams to observe, review and enhance educational programs
  • Deepening the team's understanding of child development and early years content
  • Championing excellence in educational practice

Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 per annum
