Supply Chain Analytics Lead

This exciting new role will be a key leader in the ongoing development of our planning application Atlas, aiming to maximise supply chain efficiency. Working alongside a team of analysts and planners, you will solve complex problems and implement improvements before deploying into production.

You will delve into vast datasets across the supply chain to uncover insights that unlock capacity and drive business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain optimisation planning applications with external partners.
  • Conduct analysis across supply chain capacity impact questions using diverse data sources.
  • Review and validate analysis assumptions on key data sets as part of regular planning processes.
  • Apply statistical analysis techniques to provide actionable insights on supply chain performance.
  • Drive development and maintenance of supporting toolkits, including static capacity models and analysis processes.
  • Mentor peers in data analysis best practices and innovative methods for deriving meaningful insights.
  • Proactively drive project outcomes and timelines whether working individually or in teams.
  • Support the development of overall strategy for the system's landscape, guiding vendors and teams.
  • Communicate findings and analysis outcomes to stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering or similar field.
  • Previous experience in supply chain data analysis, particularly in Mining industry and Time Usage Models.
  • Advanced Python programming skills, with experience using Pyomo.
  • Understanding of mixed-integer programming (MIP) and model relaxation strategies.
  • Experience in Gurobi solver configuration and tuning.
  • Strong SQL skills and comfortable working with large datasets such as Snowflake and data historian systems.
  • Experience with collaboration tools & ticketing systems is preferred.
