Opportunity for Experienced Audiologists

Join a program dedicated to strengthening healthcare services in remote communities across the Northern Territory.

The NT Remote Locum Program (NTRLP) is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led workforce initiative. We are seeking experienced Audiologists to provide treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote NT communities.

This locum-based role offers short-term placements where you will work on-site in remote clinics, delivering culturally safe, high-quality care in collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff.

  • Fully paid locum placements ranging from 3 to 12 weeks, based in remote NT communities, with travel and accommodation covered by us.
  • Cultural orientation and 24/7 support to help you transition into remote healthcare.
  • Free CPD-accredited eLearning with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM).

Key Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years full-time postgraduate clinical experience in a relevant clinical setting.
  • Minimum of 250 hours of relevant full-time clinical experience working as an Audiologist within the past 12 months.
  • Evidence of current Audiology Australia Accredited Audiologist Certificate.
  • Current membership with Audiology Australia.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
