Role Overview


K&L Gates is seeking a skilled Labor and Employment Legal Secretary to join our Melbourne office. This role involves providing high-level secretarial support to our Labour, Employment and Workplace Safety team.


About the Role



  • Support the Practice Group lead with administrative tasks
  • Provide administrative support to partners and fee earners in the practice group
  • Manage confidential firm information and open new matters
  • Input client data into Interaction software
  • Assist with client queries and monthly reporting requirements
  • Manage the monthly billing process

The Ideal Candidate



  • 4+ years' experience as a Legal Secretary in a medium to large law firm or prior administrative experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and excellent communication skills
  • Able to use automated billing systems and client relationship management software (Elite3E and InterAction preferred)
