You will work as an apprentice lineworker, helping to supply electricity across Western Australia.

About the Role

Lineworkers are responsible for constructing, maintaining, and repairing overhead powerlines.

  • Apprentices will gain hands-on experience in outdoor settings, working in teams to complete physical tasks.
  • This may include installing and maintaining powerlines, climbing poles or using elevated work platforms, replacing poles, conductors, and transformers, safely isolating and switching the network, and assisting with power restoration after storms or faults.

What We Look For In A Candidate

We seek motivated, safety-focused individuals who are passionate about active work and building a meaningful career.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have completed Year 11 (including passes in English and Maths), hold a WA 'C' Class Driver's Licence, be 18+, communicate effectively, work collaboratively, demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to safety, and be open to rotating between different depots. A Certificate III pre-apprenticeship is a plus but not essential.
