Mathematics Teacher Role

We are seeking a Mathematics Teacher to join our school community. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to teach mathematics to students in Years 7-10 and contribute to the development of our curriculum.

  • The role involves teaching mathematics to students, developing and implementing curriculum materials, and assessing student progress.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will be working with colleagues, students, and parents.
  • You will be expected to maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching mathematics to students in Years 7-10
  • Developing and implementing curriculum materials
  • Assessing student progress and reporting to parents
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress
  • Participating in staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Requirements:

  • Completed Bachelor of Education or equivalent qualification
  • Current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration
  • Experience teaching mathematics to students in Years 7-10
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
