Restaurant Manager Role

LK Hospitality is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join their team. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple offerings and menus, working in a state-of-the-art interior and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the front of house teams by providing tools for their success;
  • Roster the FOH team based on service requirements and staff availability, taking into account the varied service times and offerings;
  • Train and develop the Front of House staff in customer service skills, sequence of service, and food and beverage knowledge;
  • Manage the bar team, ensuring cohesive menus and high standards;
  • Work with the BOH team to ensure all staff are trained across all menu offerings;
  • Handle guest and reviews, complaints, and feedback, working towards improvements and providing tools for the best guest experience;
  • Understand the demands of the restaurant and enhance the guest experience;
  • Create daily and weekly guest reports, reporting back to the group executive team within set budgets and organizational goals;
  • Ensure efficient shift management, pre-empting guest needs, staff allocations, and promoting communication amongst the team;
  • Maximise sales through briefing, sales goals, and strategy, motivating the team;
  • Maintain high standards and procedures in all areas of restaurant operations;
  • Promote venue cleanliness and personal presentations in all areas, including back of house and service areas.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with proven experience managing multiple venues;
  • Valid RSA;
  • Background in fine dining or a similar style venue in a leadership role;
  • Excellent communication skills with a pressure mindset;
  • Outstanding multi-tasker, thriving in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong food and beverage knowledge, with particular attention to dietaries and allergies;
  • Excellent presentation;
  • Ability to multitask;
  • Knowledge of wine, Sake, and Tea.
