About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Software Development Manager to lead our global software development team. This role requires a blend of technical execution, stakeholder management, business strategy and delivery skills.

The ideal candidate will partner with product managers, UI/UX specialists, client and commercial teams, QA specialists, external technology providers, and cloud services teams to deliver industry-leading software as a service (SaaS) products.

This role involves managing software development teams through Agile methodologies, which spans product ideation through continuous integration and delivery.

The Software Development Manager is also responsible for the global user support of our SaaS products, requiring excellent communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  1. Manages a team of global software developers, providing performance management, career development, coaching, training, mentoring and team building.
  2. Partners with product managers, solution architects, IT stakeholders, and UI/UX leads to drive product requirements, story definition, architecture and UI/UX prototypes.
  3. Actively participates in product roadmap development, customer engagements and architecture definition.
  4. Provides technical software development expertise and advice to stakeholders.
  5. Manages the support process, resources and performance for global SaaS offerings.
  6. Facilitates sprint planning and retrospectives with the team.
