Manufacturing Position Overview

This position is ideal for a reliable and proactive individual with experience in metal work, machinery operation, and stock management.

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team on an ASAP start basis.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a small team, reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, and be responsible for various tasks including:

  • Metal work on Router machines
  • Bonding material to substrate using roller or manual methods
  • Cutting vinyl or material as required
  • Supporting the despatch function with packing, sorting, loading, and unloading stock
  • Operating, maintaining, cleaning, setting up, loading, and unloading print machines
  • Conducting stocktake and inventory counting
  • Monitoring the quality of signs produced to standards
  • Completing documentation
  • Contributing to maintaining a clean and organised workplace

To be considered for this position, you will need to possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Forklift licence
  • Ideal experience with machinery (not essential)
  • Proactive approach
  • Ability to pass a fit for work and drug and alcohol test
