We're currently seeking a Retail Assistant - Buys and Loans Operator to join our Croydon team in a part-time capacity, where you'll contribute to delivering outstanding results and achieving company targets.

About the Role

  • This role involves working in our Buys and Loans department, where you'll accurately process day-to-day transactions, manage cash handling, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • By actively seeking pricing feedback and trends, you'll help ensure that our customers receive the best possible deals, while achieving KPI targets.
  • You'll build lasting relationships with our customers by listening to their needs and providing tailored solutions that meet their expectations.
  • In this role, you'll also communicate pricing, valuation, and pawnbroking options clearly and effectively, ensuring that our customers feel valued and respected.
  • Additionally, you'll perform all transactions in line with company and legislative requirements, demonstrating your commitment to excellence and integrity.

About You

  • You'll bring proven customer service experience, ideally in a retail environment, where you've demonstrated a passion for delivering exceptional results and exceeding customer expectations.
  • A strong interest in technology, gaming, collectables, jewellery, or tools and hardware would be an advantage, as would your ability to negotiate with customers and build long-term relationships.
  • You'll possess strong communication skills that build rapport, trust, and demonstrate compassion, with the ability to discuss and explain contract details clearly and effectively.
