Helping Hands Program

We are seeking compassionate and enthusiastic volunteers to join our Helping Hands Program, which aims to provide social connection and support to seniors in need.

Key Responsibilities:

- Visit seniors in their homes or community settings and engage in friendly conversation and activities

- Assist with tasks around the home or garden, such as shopping or light maintenance

- Accompany seniors to events and outings, promoting social inclusion and connection

- Develop relationships with clients and their families, providing emotional support and companionship

Requirements:

- Ability to travel to clients in the community or their homes

- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards seniors

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Reliable and flexible availability over a minimum of 6 months
