The OpportunityThis role is a senior member of the Infrastructure Origination Team at Dexus, with responsibility for sourcing and executing transactions across all infrastructure sectors in Australia and New Zealand, including Airports, Transport, Energy, Social, Data Centres and Public Private Partnerships.
The Senior Transactions Manager will lead discussions with clients on the funding of new investment opportunities, working closely with the Head of Origination, Infrastructure.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Prepare investment papers and manage due diligence processes.
- Manage client interactions and the financial close process.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of investment opportunities.
- Pitch investment opportunities to clients to secure funding.
- Conduct financial analysis and develop detailed financial models.
- Lead significant projects, ensuring transactions meet fund criteria and competitive advantages.
- Coordinate and lead due diligence workstreams.
- Draft papers for investment committee approval.
- Monitor market trends to support deal origination.
- Assist in preparing marketing materials and client analysis.
- Train junior staff in financial and investment skills.
About You
- You have 10+ years of experience in investment banking, financial advisory, or investment management.
- Desirable: Experience in funds management and a strong network in infrastructure, investment banking, and financial services.
- You possess an entrepreneurial mindset and strategic thinking.
- You have advanced financial analysis and modelling skills with attention to detail.
- You understand complex financial measures (NPV, IRR, VaR).
- You have a strong grasp of investment propositions, key drivers, and risks.
- You possess in-depth analysis and problem-solving skills.
