We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Greencross Vets in Townsville. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology, and emergency and critical care.
- Perform minor procedures as required.
- Care for, handle, and clean all animals in our care.
- Maintain the overall hygiene of our practice, including surgical areas and equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service and be the first point of contact for clients, handling inquiries in person and over the phone.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally hold a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent. You will also possess good knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures, exceptional communication and customer service skills, and experience with Rx works (preferred but not essential).
