Emergency Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse to provide high-quality ICU and hospital nursing care in a dynamic Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for a General Practice Nurse looking to take their skills to the next level in a referral hospital setting or for an emergency-experienced nurse looking for a new challenge.
About the Role- Collaborate with veterinarians and specialists to deliver excellent patient care and participate in daily rounds.
- Be adaptable to a rotating roster, contributing to a sometimes unpredictable workload.
- Maintain a positive team-oriented attitude and support other team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Work as part of a dynamic ECC team providing ICU and hospital nursing care, support roles, triage, and patient stabilization.
- Qualified Veterinary Nurse with minimum Certificate IV or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in the veterinary industry as a nurse.
- Exceptional organization and communication skills.
- Able to work as part of a team and follow instructions while showing initiative.
- A positive proactive attitude and ability to adapt to change.
- Demonstrated skills in anaesthetic setup, monitoring and surgical techniques.
- Willingness to work a rotating roster including nights and weekends.
