About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead or Senior Electrical Estimator to join our team. The role offers flexible working arrangements and can accommodate the right candidate in any state of Australia.

The successful candidate will have experience within infrastructure construction, ensuring accurate estimates of project costs are completed on time and meet technical and company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work collaboratively with a team of Estimators on Renewable Energy and Electrical construction projects bids and tenders.
  2. Develop and implement business plans to achieve company goals.
  3. Prepare tenders for engineering, procurement, and construction contracts.
  4. Produce accurate and timely narrative monthly reports.
  5. Ensure accuracy of tender information, wage agreements, labour hours, subcontractor pricing, and material prices.
  6. Liaise with clients and develop strategic alliances with suppliers and subcontractors.
About You
  • You will have a high degree of understanding of detailed engineering, planning, and scheduling.
  • Proven experience in an Electrical Estimator role is essential.
  • Experience working with renewable energy construction project estimates is highly regarded.
  • You will provide supervision, coaching, and development of less experienced team members and estimating resources.
  • Proficient in computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite, and on-screen take-off and estimating software.
  • Able to evaluate information quickly and make sound judgments.
