Job Overview

NES Fircroft is proud to partner with a global leader in the green hydrogen sector to find a talented individual for their electrolysis testing team.

This is a Monday to Friday contract role for 12 months with potential for extension or permanence.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing testing strategies to drive innovation in water electrolysis technologies.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Develop test procedures and plans to advance water electrolysis technologies
  • Analyze and report on test data, automating reporting systems where possible
  • Collaborate with the design team to develop manufacturable parts
  • Participate in traceability activities and contribute to design life cycle improvement programs
  • Develop and maintain testing equipment
  • Solve day-to-day problems and escalate issues to the engineering team as needed
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering highly regarded, but not essential
  • Experience in testing software and hardware systems
  • Understanding of requirements analysis, traceability, and testing outcomes
  • Familiarity with basic engineering workflows and System Development Life Cycle
  • Able to contribute effectively to team objectives and share knowledge
  • Well-developed problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Experience with rapid prototyping manufacturing an advantage
