The Deputy Manager Court Transcription role provides strategic leadership for the delivery of remote and in-court monitoring, as well as out-of-court transcription services across all participating courts and tribunals.

This position ensures the accurate and timely provision of court transcripts to the judiciary, legal professionals, and self-represented individuals. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of court and audio reporters, overseeing their daily operations, training, and development.

Key areas of focus include leading and implementing change, particularly in relation to transcription technologies, fostering a positive team culture, driving staff engagement, and contributing to the achievement of core business objectives and service standards.

Selection Criteria:

  • Proven experience in leading and managing operational teams, preferably in a legal, transcription, or court services environment.
  • Ability to oversee day-to-day operations and ensure service delivery standards are met.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, train, and develop staff.
  • Experience fostering a positive and engaged team culture.
  • Experience in managing and implementing change, particularly involving new technologies or systems.
