: The ACT Government is seeking a highly skilled Capital Projects Manager to join the City Renewal Authority. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in the planning and delivery of capital projects across the City Renewal Precinct.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of capital projects, from design initiatives to development and land release sites. You will be responsible for providing subject matter expert advice and supporting the team in delivering projects that meet the needs of our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and delivery of capital projects across the City Renewal Precinct;
  • Provide expert advice on project design, implementation, and evaluation;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure projects meet community needs and expectations;
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners;
  • Manage budgets and resources to deliver projects on time and within budget;
  • Analyze data and provide insights to inform project decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, architecture, urban planning);
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in a government or urban renewal context;
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle methodologies and best practices;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights;
  • Familiarity with design-led approaches to urban renewal and regeneration;
  • Experience working with diverse communities and stakeholders, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people with disability, and culturally and linguistically diverse groups.
