Lead Cyber Security Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Cyber Security Architect to lead our security architecture team in the APAC region. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing projects and leading teams, with a strong background in cyber security architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Secure Architecture Blueprints: Design and maintain secure architecture blueprints for integrated OT/IT ecosystems, including SCADA, PLCs, TOS, enterprise networks, and cloud environments.
  • Define Security Architecture Patterns: Define security architecture patterns that are aligned with organizational cyber security architecture frameworks; lead technical reviews of OT/IT infrastructure designs including network security, web and application security, network access control (NAC), and remote access/VPN.
  • Embed Secure Development Practices: Ensure secure development practices are embedded across the SDLC; establish architectural standards, define security controls, and ensure APIs are designed, implemented and maintained in compliance with standards and policies.
  • Integrate Telemetry and SIEM: Support the integration of OT/IT telemetry into SIEM platforms; collaborate with the security operations centre (SOC), cyber security operations teams, and incident response teams on architecture-related investigations.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor Degree/Master's in Cyber Security, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Certifications: Certifications such as SABSA, TOGAF, CompTIA Security, GICP are highly desirable.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of experience in Cyber Security roles with at least 3 years as Security Architect, preferably in Ports/Logistics/Supply Chain, asset-intensive industries, critical infrastructure or manufacturing.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

This role requires expertise in leading high-performing teams, driving business growth, and ensuring cybersecurity excellence throughout the organization.
