About the Role
">The Carer Support Officer is responsible for coordinating support, training, and development of foster carers to ensure their holistic needs are met. This includes providing ongoing support, development, and mentoring to carers who care for young people in foster care programs.

- Facilitate carer training, mentoring, and cultural learning;">
- Recruit and onboard new foster carers;">
- Visit carers' homes to assess safety and provide support;">

Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will require a tertiary qualification in social work or a related field. Additionally, you should have at least 2 years of experience in Out-of-Home Care (OOHC), disability, or child services. You should also have a strong understanding of child protection legislation and hold relevant clearance checks.
